What is Homeopathy?
Homeopathy is a system of medicine that is based on the Law of Similars. This means that 'Like Cures Like'. For example, when one peels an onion, the reaction is smarting, burning and tearing of the eyes and nose. When a substance (onion) causes symptoms in a 'material dose' and the substance is then 'potentized', the potentized remedy will now alleviate symptoms caused by the onion. When one has a cold with symptoms of tearing of the eyes and nose (just like when one peels the onion) and takes the homeopathically prepared onion, the symptoms disappear. These color remedies have been potentized and are unlike regular 'infused' color liquids.
What are Homeopathic Remedies?
Homeopathics are diluted and energized substances that are created through a process called, potentization. When a substance is potentized the information system or unique frequency to that substance is trapped within water molecules. The substance and water/alcohol mixture and container is 'succussed' or struck against a hard surface. Succussion is done approximately 10 times per dilution. This method releases the frequency of the substance into the mixture and fixates it. This substance is once again diluted. A dilution and succussion process is done 6 times for a 6x or 6c potency. The potentized remedy now becomes the 'information system' for the body to initiate its own healing process. Much like a missing computer chip, the body receives this vibration and allows the skin to heal naturally. This information system is now capable of reaching the cellular system of the skin in a way that reminds the cell and body how to work. Homeopathic remedy substances are made by homeopathic pharmacies in accordance with the processes described in the Homeopathic Pharmacopoeia of the United States – the official manufacturing manual recognized by the FDA.
